WHAT IS DARK MONEY?

Prop 211, a bipartisan initiative, aims to eliminate dark money in Arizona. Dark money is political spending on election advertising by anonymous donors. Current Arizona law allows anonymous donors to spend unlimited amounts of money in order to sway your vote.

What can we do about it?

We can use the Citizen Initiative process to establish reporting requirements for the corporations and businesses that are now permitted to sponsor political advertising.
